Al, since you can read from the CD burner (I understand this to be the
case), I am thinking that possibly your Roxio Easy CD Creator is either
not set up properly or or you are not doing something correctly.

Are you using Easy CD Creator to burn with or are you using Direct CD?
If you are using Direct CD, you need to format the blank CDR disc before
you can use it. Then once formatted, you should be able to drag and drop
files in your Windows File Manager directly from any folder onto the CDR
disc. If you are using EAsy CD Creator, you need to go into the program
and tell it what files you want to copy to the CDR disc. I haven't used
Roxio in a long time because I find that Nero is so much better. There
might be a setup option in Roxio to make it detect your CD burner, not
sure about that. Make sure Roxio is detecting the burner before you try
to burn.

Hope this helps.

Now a question for anyone who may know: Can Roxio Easy CD Creator 6.0
and Nero 5.xx or 6.0 co-exist on the same system without interfering
with one- another? Back in the days of EZCD Creator 3.5 and 4.0, EZCD
didn't appreciate any other burning software being installed on the
system at the same time.
