Hi ED
The problem  was a leaky D840 which tested ok..
I replaced it and it is running ok now..It is a fast recovery diode
NTE-552 which was provided by one of the Techs..I had a lot
of help on this one from the list...Thanks Guys your help has been
appreciated.
