[TechAssist] Re: Toshiba CF32G40, TAC 9705, what is S1854? Need SM

This set is worth it as the cracks are only around the flyback. As far
as I can see I have repaired all the damage. There must have been some
electronic damage as the set was on when it fell. Now it comes up with
HV and turns off right away with the red LED blinking. More
troubleshooting!

Quick analysis...Before you start worrying about the Shadow Mask, make
sure
all bridges have been crossed.;-)
Kevin...after a while you will be able to look at cracked CB damage and
before you even start, depending on number of connections, decide if you
even want to waste your time.
Considering your time, and having proper tools, scraping, soldering, and
can
you guarantee it for your warranty.
Normally, on Toshiba, any drop will be around the flyback. If the crack
has
gone beyond that..Do yourself a favour...let it go.
