Phil I've never seen a Toshiba sensitive to direction like that which you
describe but I have seen them have int joints that were so touchy that any
change in the physical position of the cabinet geometry would flex the board
and cause int faults. I've also had an instance where the cust had a sponge
mat under the set to protect the cabinet it sat on and the mat caused the
cabinet to flex between the feet of the cabinet and also to close up the air
spaces cut into the cab bottom and also short component legs together when
the humidy was a littlew high.   Personally can't see where magnetic fields
