You won't believe this but had a Sony KV27TS27 with the same sounding
symptom. First noticed intermittant video. Removed the A board,
resoldered all edge connections, removed,resoldered the IF module assy.
After a day I noticed the other symptom: horizontal bands all thru the
picture and the tuner would not select stations correctly. It was the
tuner with internal solder connection breaks on the 12V pin and
elsewhere. The tuner appeared to be breaking into oscillation. I always
remove and solder them now. Just a thought.
