Gentlemen,

I finally got around to looking at this unit again. It will power-up, but
most of the time it goes right in to "PROTECTION" mode, occasionally it will
work for 20 - 30 seconds, then "PROTECTION" mode. When it does work, I
notice the audio output flucuates a bit, sort of like a low frequency
fluttering sound (+50 & -50 are stable during this). Are there any common
problems with this unit? What causes protection to activate? I know nothing
about this particular unit, any help would be greatly appreciated. Would any
member have a schematic please? Thanks.

David,
What is the problem with this unit ?
If your outputs seem to be OK, check for bad solder on R806.
should have +42.8 volts on both sides of R806. It provides the +24 volt
source for the speaker relay.
