The customer said it would just turn itself off for no reason. May do so three times in an afternoon, or run OK days. I had it here at least three days playing OK. On one day, I looked up and it was off. Pushed power, and it came on again for an hour. Did this several more times that day. I never had to unplug it. I could turn it on with remote or front button. Only thing I saw was a typical flash burn around the AC input on G board. Seen those many times with no damage. For good measure I soldered the connector wires between the seperate G power board to chassis, both sides, soldered all power IC pins, vert, HOT, H. drive transformer, PS board, overall chassis. Reassembled, ran it 3 days more. Let it go home. Cuasomer called, said it failed three times one afternoon. heard a "pop" when it went. I never heard a pop. I feel they think they were not treated fairly by me. I offered them back he difference paid at pick-up over their 49.00 diag. fee if wanted, or I will accept it back and look again, no add labor. It's two sons caring for their 93 yr old mom. I want to be fair. Any histories on such an intermittant? Phil Bader -- Philip Bader Jan Phyl TV Inc. (estab. 1976) 3420 Recker Hwy.
