Hi Phil, I had this prob before, You may also want to insure R661 did not
increase in value. Should be 470 ohms.  It monitors the B+ for regulation
feedback.

Originally dead, Q602,Q602, the VDRs, .1 ohm resistor replaced. Plug in,
instant short again.
Final  fix was a 150 volt zener that checked good at first: D648  (150V
zener) across the +130V source to ground.
