From Tech Repair CD:

SONY\KV27HSR10\WITH SRS ON* SOUND BECOMES DISTORTED GARBLED AT MAXIMUM BASE OR
WOOWOO VOICE
REPLACE SRS MODULE WITH UPGRADED ONE (PN: 8-741-592-02)
AFTER MODULE IS REPLACED CHANGE THE BRACKET
(PN: 4-393-435-05) TO THE NEW ONE TO SUPPORT SRS MODULE.
ALSO ADD 22K OHM RESISTOR IN SERIES WITH C251 1MFD OFF OF
PIN 3 OF IC251 TO GROUND. ALSO ADD 22K TO PIN 5 OF IC251
FROM C253 1MFD TO GROUND.

Hi fellow techs,

Does anyone know if this model of Sony has the SBX-1637 sound module?  I have to
do a service call and it would be helpful if I knew what to expect.  Thankyou.
