F402 is a small SMD on the underside of the board that comes out with the
mech assy.

Subject: [TechAssist] Sony DVD player DVP-S500D, disc does not spin

I have a Sony DVD player model DVP-S500D, which the disc does not spin,
either DVD or CD audio. I cleaned the laser lenses and checked the fuses
F001 to F006 on the main CPU board. Also looked the whole unit over for
an F402 which apparently is found open on many Sony models, but I can't
find this fuse. Where do I look for it, or is it is even present in this
model?

There was an error code come up on the display but I forgot to write it
down before dismantling the unit. I believe it was code 30.

Thanks for any help.
