J- i just repaired a VMD-6 with similiar problems.It's approx. the same year
as yours.I was lucky,I'm an ASC for Sanyo,and they sent me a lower
drum&cylinder assy from a scrap unit they had.You will probably have some
work to do on the ''VD1'' pcb,which always has bad smd lytics in it.New
lower drums &VD1 boards can be a very pricy repair.Quote a very high est on
