[TechAssist] Sansui TV/VCR 13" model COM1307AD, no play

This unit will play the tape but will not show the picture. The play
indicator on the screen shows up, but the tuner channel remains on the
screen. It sounds like the video switching IC is not working. Another
symptom is when the tape is ?playing? and the FF or RW button is pressed
the screen flips vertically. It almost looks like I am using search on
a video tape. TIA
