STK392-040(A) from Electronica fixed this set. Don't know if the A and B version are different,or if I just got a defective B version from Tritronics(TT). BTW,the A version I got from Electronica looks the same as the B version from Tritronics(TT)......other than the stamping on the back of the chip.
