Usually it is a bit simpler than soldering all conections- although that
will do it. Many times the connection in the IF block is marked actually
marked AFT. There are simmilar sets that also have the AFT/PLL on the main
chassis under a Shield even though they may also have an IF block.

Hello,
This is an older set, DOM: 1989. Customer initially reported screen
flickering on/off in 2 sec intervals., Found different when I got to
location.
Upon arrival I found that Set has H/V and filaments are lit in CRT.
however there is no raster, somewhat choppy audio, OSD functions are there.
Based on age, I'm gonna check for bad caps, etc...
Chassis is type SCC-A05P-A, taking chassis back with me.
Anyone have case history on this model?
