Did you check for bad VDR's sony uses them to try to prevent damage to the 
tranformers in the event of a short but when there is a short as in a 
componet failure they can become shorted or compromised, Also horizontal 
driver connections and other connections are common. There can also be other 
problems but the VDR's are the first suspect

Change the HOT (Q502 2SC4297), regulators (Q501,Q502 2SC4834)and
ceramic capacitors. They have 135 Volts in B+ now, but burn again,
change again and work but overheated, any help is appreciated.
