[TechAssist] Remote codes for Wards Signature 2000

We have a montgomery wards Signature 2000 13" TV made in 1988 in Taiwan. It
works great except the channel numbers is always on screen as a large red
number approximately in the center of the screen. If I could program the
channels I think the display would go away. I have seen this before but I
cannot remember which manufacurer of TV it was. It has only a UL code of 843T.
That crosses to soundesign but they do not have codes for TVs. Can someone
tell me who manufactured this TV or which remote I need. Thanks, John.
