I figured it must be a bad or (drastically internally different) new part
because it did not smoke until I put the new flyback in. I will call
Cumberland Electronics in the morning. Too bad I had to cut off the anode
cap on the replacement. It had instructions and a smaller black grommet
enclosed to replace the larger red one at the splitter.Evidently it is
listed wrong on their computer.
