Did you consider removing the crt socket assembly, just in case the tube is
shorted. You never mentioned any thing about that. Peter Kowalik

Subject: [TechAssist] RCA24V510T

This the first time I've seen this model. I have a weird problem. It turns
on for about 20 sec( just enough for pic tube to start to lite up) and then
turns itself off. I've tried all the usual things ESR'd the caps,Rang the
F/B and yoke, checked for bad solder and shorted diodes and transistors.
They all seem to be good. The SMPS has 137V coming out of it and the rest of
the output have voltages on them. Disconnected yoke V and H but it shuts
down in 20-25 secs. I also noted that the on off switch will turn it on but
when on for the short time it will not turn off.
Does anyone have any ideas on this? could also use a schematic on this one.
