Mike
This is actually a Toshiba so try crossing to another model # , like
M-650 ,
750 , 770.
Make sure that the load motor block is timed in correctly and that metal
cam
load arm that sits under the block assembly, and , drives cassette load
assembly , is
not damaged and it has not damaged the cam gear also. This arm was the #1
problem on
these
MONTE MONCRIEF

Subject: [TechAssist] RCA VCR model# VR652 HF

Have a RCA VCR model # vr652hf this unit powers up, head motor spins(but not
wide open)and stays running(this is not the normal head motor initialize)
LCD displays Eject then unit shuts down.
Disassembled and checked stator and upper cylinder connections on main board
and tape end censors. Changed The supply side because it ohmed out a littler
different than the takeup(about 1meg.) Center LED has power and works.
Does anyone have any notes on this problem?
Thanks in advance,
Mike
