[TechAssist] RCA PTV Gaskets

I received a fax flier from Tritronics that listed P/N 254599 as a gasket
for 7" CRT's used in CTC169, 171, 178, 195 and P/N 254600 as a gasket for 9"
CRT's used in a PTK188. I ordered three of each on the assumption they would
be the real thing. What I got is actually a diaphragm, not a gasket. I then
checked the part number in the RCA Partsfinder program and found that
Thomson does call it a gasket so it is not the fault of Tritronics. Look out
for this incorrect nomenclature since the diaphragms are seldom needed and
won't fix a gasket leak. Philips P/N 313501302321 is a gasket that does work
on the 7" CRT's
