I checked the voltages and the convergence power supply is not working! I changed 7 parts but must have missed one. The -45V, -15V are missing; and the 45v line is 25v and drops as I measure it, and the 23v and 15v are missing. Do you have a schematic for the new improved convergence P/S? This P/S has the fet and 4 small driver transistors. Thanks. This would happen on plug in. The thing thinks it is a direct view tv. What you need to do is a. check for +- 15 and 40something on the diodes of the secondary, so that you know the power supply is working. 2. ensure that the convergence ic has power supply, the coils I mentioned. III.ensure a "line of communication" between the convergence IC and the main ic. That is, see if there is data activity at the convergence IC at plug in.
