I'm a clutz. Please disregard this below post that was sent previously. I
forgot to resolder R4159 back in place after checking it. Set is now running
fine. This business is getting to my nerves I guess. Neil TV Doctors
Ok, I installed the new transformer but now I don't have any channeles. Channel
search comes up zero. Anyone have this happen after replacing the fly. Neil
I noticed that I had the values or the resistor part numbers reversed. It should
be R4159 checks 15K and R4305 checks 3.6K. Neil
Unit pulses 3 times and won't start. I know this is the symptom for a bad
flyback.
Is there anything else to check for on this chassis before I give my customer an
estimate? R4159 checks 3.6K and R4305 checks 15k but are white and can't read
them.
What is the going rate for most shops for repairs on a unit like this? I think
I will estimate for around $175.00 because it seems like most people now just
wan't
to buy new sets because they are getting so cheap. Neil
