Sorry! My mistake! Customer had brought in CC415 he just bought from
somebody with complaint light will not work. Noticed that the new lead acid
battery he just bought did not have the metal plate on it that shorts the
battery select terminals. found a Ni-Cad in stock and it did have the metal
plate but would not fit his used charger that he had bought seperately.
Looked in the service manual and it said CPS012 so I assumed that what he
needed was a Ni-Cad battery and charger. Doing some more checking I found an
old lead-acid battery and it did have the metal plate and that the CPS012 is
a lead-acid charger. So the problem is that the new batteries dont have the
metal plate.
