PIONEER\SDP50A3\UNIT SHUTS DOWN* RESISTORS ON AMP ASSEMBLY OVER 
HEATING\\\\DEFECTIVE CONVERGENCE CONTROL
ASSEMBLY AND-OR AMP ASSEMBLY\\\\\\\\

Pioneer\SDP50A3K\Set is in PD Shutdown and power supply appears to be defective 
but actually* only 4A fuse
is blown\After fuse is replaced* the set will work but the fuse filament can be 
seen to bend momentarily
at power on.\\\On AMP assembly-Resolder transistors and regulators that are 
mounted to the heat sink and
replace one or both convergence output ICs (STK392-110).\\\\\\\\

Relay clicks, green light comes on then shuts down. I'm thinking the conv. ICs 
STK392-110. Is there a way
of checking to make sure. I was thinking about unpluging the conv. yokes and 
see if the set would stay on.
