It's the yoke. I don't know about the ringer, but sub a yoke on there and
watch it deflect. T8 and M8 are bad about their yokes.

Subject: [TechAssist] Philips 25ps40s121 Ch_25M800 weird vert problem

This is a weird looking vert problem. The picture is 2 inches tall and
twisted. Already replaced vert i.c. and esr'd caps, checked diodes for
shorts. We have now seen this problem in two different manufacturers, Daewoo
being the other. Anybody know what gives with these???
