I have a Peavey guitar amp in the shop, model "Special 112". The speaker coil is open. The amp is rated 160 Watts into 4 Ohms. The frequency response specs are -1 dB 20 Hz to 20 kHz @ 130 Watts into 4 Ohms. The speaker is 12" in size. The following numbers are on a sticker on the speaker (copied exactly as listed): SP-12425 96000277 Repl bskt 00013850 00013730 71200635 Does anyone have a source for the original or a suitable replacement speaker? How much output power would be lost if an 8 Ohm speaker was used instead of 4 Ohm? THanks for any help. -- Gary McCartney McCartney Electronics Guelph Ontario Canada Est. 1984 email: gary (at) number63.ca ***************************************************************************** Classifieds!
