I tested for DC on the speaker leads, both across each other and from
each lead to ground, and no noticable DC measurement anywhere. Now I am
waiting for Peavey suppliers to get back to me regarding a new basket
for the speaker. The speaker does have a huge magnet that is bolted on,
so no need to replace the whole thing, just the speaker coil and cone
and frame.
