If you are going to mount the unit on the wall the first instruction with
the actual set is to lay it down on its face to enable you to mount hardware

I suppose moving parts have to fail at sometime!

As far as the laying face down issue ......no one else seems to have any
input on this & I , for on am no expert on these new sets ...yet ;-)
BUT......transporting is definitely a NO NO!!! Servicing I face down
should NOT be a problem. Carefully lay it down on a soft CLEAN cloth.
NEVER apply excessive force in a way that would flex the panel.

Should be fine following this method.

Any comments from the warranty centers that might do these every day?

Any how.......keep us posted to the outcome of this saga.
