Replace the main regulator IC. I have done two already this year. No other
parts fail. Don't have the board location here but it is a STR something.
Not hard to find, just awkward repairing those monsters. I finally built a
jig made out of 2 pieces of treated 4 x 4 beams about 2 feet long with a 1/2
rod standing up in the center of them to slide the set over. Works fine for
a stand for all Plasma's. Been meaning to put in WinStips because it is a
money maker tip.

This is my first plasma TV repair. Customer just called with symptoms
of coming on for 5 seconds with video, then shutting off and the red
power light blinks 6 times and repeats. Does anyone have the service
manual or any suggestions? The first think I know is they shouldn't be
transported facedown, but they can be worked on facedown. Thanks.
