IN THE OLD DAYS I USED TO USE AN ECG HI-DIV 1 OR 3, ALONG WITH A DUAL LEAD ANODE CAP. HOOKED TO A 4.7 MEG POT. THIS WOULD GIVE YOU THE 1/5TH VOLTAGE FROM THE HIGH VOLTAGE FOR FOCUS. DONT KNOW IF THEY ARE STILL AVAILABLE. AND BESIDES, SOME NOW USE DUAL FOCUS OR 12KV FOR FOCUS(NOT 1/5TH). I WOULD CONSIDER REPLACING THE FLYBACK IF I WERE YOU. ITS THE BEST OPTION.
