Hi Gary,
Sounds like you have a drop of coolant around the micro.  Seen it a few
times on the 195s.  Very hard to find and not much - just a drop or two.  I
pull the micro, EEPROM and CC socket.  Maybe the crystal too while your in
it.  Clean the parts and the PCB and replace the parts.  Hope this helps!
