[TechAssist] PTK195E2B Hard to start-up

Hi everybody!
This one has my head spiinning today...
Set would not start in custmer's home so I pulled the lightbox and broug= ht
it back.
Found normal voltages on standby by no indication of startup. Micr= o
flashed "Hi" when
power button pressed but no 12V or 5.1 V from pin 6-pin7 of U14701 (dual=
voltage reg).
Surprise- pressing power button 6, 7 times resulted in startup and perfe= ct
picture.
Set would then work perfectly each time UNTIL unplugged 10 minutes and a=
llowed to cool.
Any ideas???
