Bruce, change the compression settings (if you haven't) in
the properties, and the dpi settings as well.  Set
compression to 'jpeg high' and dpi to as low as possible.
With the dpi set low, make sure you can still zoom in and see
any details needed.  If you can't, you have to increase it.

Making a PDF document with text and schematic information the
program
doubles the size of the document instead of compressing it.
The program used to work fine but now makes the document
larger and
difficult to send over the net..
The is Adobe Acrobat 5.

Can some one shed some light on this problem... email private
would be O.K
not to fill the list with a  slightly off topic discussion..
