Does it have no normal audio AND no hi-fi audio? There are two separate
circuits with different heads and you can select one or the other or mixed
in playback. A prerecorded movie tape will have both hi-fi and normal tracks
recorded, that would help to determine if you have a record problem or a
playback problem.

Subject: [TechAssist] PANASONIC PV-S4280K * NO AUDIO*

I have a PANASONIC PV-S4280K HiFi VCR that has NO AUDIO when playing a tape.
It does have AUDIO when in TUNER mode.
I cleaned the video head and audio head as well as checked the audio head.
The tracking is also okay.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
