I remember back in 1963, when they were talking Color TV, and having a
good idea how TV worked, and how the picture is created, saying to
myself, Hah..that will never work.

I was born in 1952, but basically grew up in my father's shop, repairing
radios and building kits starting when I was about 7 (1959). These sites
bring back many memories.

TV's.
