Actually, When you think about it, its amazing they have hung in there that
long after being electrocuted, burnt by solder splashes,
Capacitors Exploding in their Faces....suffering stubbed toes from TV's and
chassis Falling on them ,and the list goes on and on...
Kinda Chokes ya up eh?

1963? I have repaired RCA CTC-3 chassis from 1957 that was color.
The 21" round crt had metal housing instead of the metallic paint for ground
dag.
My first color TV was a 1963 RCA CTC-10 or 16 I believe!
Remember replacing tube at home and looking in mirror to align yoke.
When finished wife said the writing was backwards.
I laughed at myself and told her I must have put in tube backwards :>)
