[TechAssist] Mitsubishi CS-2723C, 1990 model, chassis VM1-A-C23R, lack of width

Picture is 1-2 inches narrower than it should be at first turn on.
After a few minutes the width is normal.  All caps in hor, pincushion
and P/S checked good for ESR.  Any tips on this set?  It still has a
very good picture for an older set so is worth repairing.  TIA
