My bypass IS for the 930B552:
I unplug the customer PIP module. From it, unsolder and remove it's 
connector "VP". Set the old board aside.
On the solder pins of the removed connector, (look at where it went on 
the old board for pin numbering if needed)
 solder an electrolytic cap (22ufd@50V) neg. lead to pin #5, pos. lead 
to pin #11.
With a second lytic cap, solder it's neg. lead to pin #7, pos. lead to 
pin # 9.
Now, all you have to do is simply plug that connector /cap "kit" assy 
back where it goes on the chassis plug. Bypassed.
Dress cap leads so don't short together.
PS, I am told the cap values are not critical, but this has worked for me.
