Gary; I don't want credit...just makes common sense. All Tech's that have serviced TV's are sure to know the difference. If I put out a search for help, when I say vertical, I mean vertical. Have been know to say vertical line, but then when someone tells me, in directions, turn north or south, I would rather have turn left or right. Farmers always give me those type of directions, on Service Calls, (turn south on the 6th line)..hehe. -Ed- GARY The above is the reply to your message dated 8/30/02 8:05 PM > > I agree! this vertical/horizontal line stuff does seem petty.Ed has hit it > right in the nose! > Give him some credit. > Gary > CHAMBERS TV > BRADENTON,FL > SINCE 1982 > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Ed Gaidies" <teltek2@xxxxxxxxxxxx> > To: "TechAssist" <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Sent: Friday, August 30, 2002 7:19 PM > Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Mitibushi VS 4544 Vertical collapse 2nd try > > >> >> Ken; >> Why don't we just call it a Vertical problem, or a horizontal problem, >> without describing what the line is showing on the screen.
