[TechAssist] Kenwood Rcvr VR305 Shuts off

Kenwood Receiver VR-305
Problem- Unit will power on, show display and even allow you to
tune a station (shows'Tuned' Stereo'). No sound, tho.
After about 3-4 seconds, unit shuts off and standby LED blinks.
Power relay clicks but nothhing else. Did note that 'Mute' is
displayed when on - not sure if this means anything.
Visually ck'd components and ckt bd - nothing abnormal..No print -
need help.
