[TechAssist] JVC Camcorder GR-DVL725U Loading door problem

I have here a JVC GR-DVL725U camcorder. I was told a child tried to load a tape
and now it doesn't work. When I insert a tape and try to close the loading
door, it should lock in place and pull the tape down. The loading assy door
will not lock in place, and even if I hold it in place, it will not pull down
the tape. If I hold the door in place as I turn the unit on, it will pull down
the tape. I see a pin on the side that looks like something should be holding
it. I don't do many camcorders so I'm not sure exactly how this mechanism
should work. Does anyone have mech. diagrams of this unit or could someone tell
me exactly were I should be looking.
