Hi Shaun, If you've replaced the tuner 2 times and it still does not get any channels you may want to make sure your data and clock lines on your tuner have a 5 volt p-p signal going to it. Normally the 33 Volt TU pin will read 33 volts all the time as that pin is the supply for the tuner. Check and verify that you have +5 volts and 12 volts also. If you find the clock and / or data line low (< 4.3 volts) then you may have to check for a leaky zener or open resistor. BTW are you replacing with an original JVC tuner or a rebuilt one?? It has no reception only snow on all channels. When I check the tuning voltages the TU pin never changes always stays at 33 volts. From what I can tell the tuning voltage comes from inside the tuner being controled by the micro through the data lines. I have replaced the tuner 2 times thinking the first replacement was defective. I do not have the exact schmedic for this one so if anyone has seen this before any help would be a great help. > > Shaun > Advanced Electronics > Fort Morgan, Co 80701 > > ------------------------------------------ > Make your TechAssist database better! > Submit Repair Tips here: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/ > ------------------------------------------ > To UNSUBSCRIBE your email address, click here: > mailto:techassist-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe > Or send a BLANK email with unsubscribe in the > SUBJECT field to the address above. > > ------------------------------------------ Make your TechAssist database better!
