Hi Fuzz,
Press and hold Alt, then press Tab to access each open program.
Then X it out. Of course this is only necessary if you are installing
a program and forgot to close some open windows.
I often install programs without closing anything and have not had
a problem with Windows 2000 & XP. But then I can usually fix any
damage in just minutes using various utilities.
