Mando,
I'll send a snapshot view of the power supply in it's entire form to your
personal addy.
It's only 1.2megs, let me know if you get it or have trouble opening it...

Subject: [TechAssist] Hitachi Projo Model 50UX18B\AP43 chasis\

This set came in dead. The relay did click. The regulator was bad and also
zd905.I replaced both and I now have a nice picture but once the set
runs any where from 30 to 45min,if I shut the tv off, turn it back on,it
only clicks.I can hear like chirping sound or a high voltage pulsing
(trying to come but won't).Now,if I freeze spray any one of D904,D905,or
R912,the set comes back on again with a nice pix.I have replaced all 3
of those parts but still does the same thing.I used the oem for the
regulator.I have tried to dnload the manual from both Hitachi and
tech-assist but when it gets to about the middle of the dnload,it quits
and say's " This has performed an illegal operation and will shut dn.
So,I loose my dn load.I know I am asking too much but would someone here
be able to look at the power supply section and see what may be causing
this problem.Maybe something wrong with the hot ground or something.Need
some help. Its very strange because I can get the tv to work by cooling
off any of the above parts and yet its neighter of them.I have checked
all caps and zeners in the reg.ckt and have replaced the ones that were
bad.Running out of idea's on this probem.Thanks.

PS,maybe someone can scan just the regulator area and send it to me via
a pdf file.
