Did you try Hitachi's site?
They have free manuals and tech help for anyone.

You need to check them out...send an email when you are in the shop and they 
may even call you.

Hello Jeff. Thanks for your reply. I wish the problem was there
but all logic functions are OK , nothing similar to OSD latchup,
I even changed and reinitialized the eeprom. I also wish it was a
PIP problem, but  unfortunately it is not..I am about to give up
have a fine week-end
