Walter, I'm 58 and over the last couple of years, I've noticed that most members have at one time or another revealed their ages. I would estimate that the average age is between 55 and 65 years. Mind, you, I,m amazed at how much older than myself, some of these fine members are. I guess we are really suckers for punishment. :>) Paul Westcott Kingsway Electronics Sudbury,Ont. 705 566-9290 westcott@xxxxxxx kingswayelectronics@xxxxxxxxxx ----- Original Message ----- From: "walter wood" <wwood_38478@xxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, July 22, 2004 10:44 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Good News!// How old are we > Larry, I'm glad you ask. > This may have been addressed a while back, but I > don't have any facts. > SO, ok guys and gals, fess up. > As a group, what's our average age?? > I'll start, I'm 59(on Oct. third.) > Better yet, maybe we could have a ""vote"" on it on > the TechAssist website like we did about the > archives. > What about it??? > Walter > > > --- larry <schntv@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > wow, there are a few older techs here, i will be > > 60 in october. > > wonder what the % is of near retries?? > > are we the last generation of tv repair men?? > > just seems strange that it could disappear. > > Larry > > > > > > > > Bill Boyd wrote: > > > Happy Birthday Grady, > > > > > > I will turn 60 before the end of this year. > > Hope I can hold out as long as you. > > > I remember those five tube radios, fixed many > > of them. > > > I am also suffering from the Super Wal-Mart > > syndrome. > > > > > > Good luck, > > > Bill Boyd > > > Bill's TV Service > > > Sulphur Springs,TX > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >>From: GOMDWIL@xxxxxxx > > >>Date: Thu, 22 Jul 2004 01:46:01 EDT > > >>Subject: [TechAssist] Good News! > > > > > > > > >>Hello Fellow Techs.
