First I replaced the 5V reg IC602 (KIA7805),then found several tactile switches at front bad (vol up was one). Unit ran and played tapes good a week, then storage. Now, will play TV OK all day. Sometimes, when a tape inserted, can hear the mechanisms, awaiting for play, then in 5 sec. shuts power off. Power on again and will eject tape. Once it "takes" will play tape to finish, rewind OK and eject OK. Does this sound like the center I/R lifgthouse, mode switch? what? -Phil -- Philip Bader, Jan Phyl TV Inc. 3420 Recker Hwy,Winter Haven, Fl. 33880 voice/fax: 863-299-8821 Established 1976 ------------------------------------------ Make your TechAssist database better!
