Have a good laugh......

I get back out to scope this TV, press the Power button, hear the degauss
relay click, then hit it again-no response. Whaaaat? So I take off my
glasses so I can read the fine print and the button I've been pressing
doesn't have the word "Power" over it.....it has the word Degauss.

Anyways I find the actual power button on it, jumper it and Tv fires up--bad
power switch. Swap another switch to verify it works, it does. Now I go
after the NO Remote condition. Using a Zenith Universal I try all codes for
Mits--none activate the Tv. However, the INT line does show digital pulses
getting to the micro. I always thought the Zenith Universal remotes worked
on Mits TVs, but now I'm having second thoughts. Sure wish I had brought my
remote from home.
