I think this set is fixed. I cleaned some "gunk" (with steel wool) off the male end that plugs into the tuner. I also soldered all the connectors, IC's, and the tuner just to make sure. Took it back and it worked fine. My gut tells me that it was the connector going into the tuner that was at fault. Only time will tell.
