[TechAssist] E machines 17" monitor eView17P,chassis C718 HOT shorted, can't locate a 2SC5521 sub

Shorted HOT 2sc5521. Can't see reason why. Distributor shows number
under JVC for $16.25 which is rediculous. Are there a few equiv. numbers
for this I may have?
